Kellogg's Special K* promotes a healthy lifestyle by bringing home the benefits of STOTT PILATES to Canadians for free

TORONTO, ON, January 12, 2005 Kellogg Canada and Cindy Crawford today kicked off the New Year with a healthy start as they announced the distribution of free Special K* STOTT PILATES DVDs in specially marked boxes of cereal for a limited time.
“We all know that good nutrition and fitness are essential to maintaining a healthy lifestyle especially in today's busy world,” said Cindy Crawford at an exclusive Special K* STOTT PILATES class held in Toronto. “I'm a mother of two and a career woman and, just like you, I know that balanced living isn't easy. That's why I truly admire the efforts of Kellogg's Special K* in giving Canadians simple solutions to help them stay in shape.”
Beginning this month, Kellogg Canada will be distributing free STOTT PILATES DVDs, a premium gift valued at $20 each, in over 1.5 million specially marked boxes of Special K* cereal, while quantities last.
“Kellogg Canada is extremely excited to partner with Cindy Crawford and give Canadians the gift of a free Special K* STOTT PILATES DVD,” said Christine Lowry, Vice President, Nutrition, Kellogg Canada. “Just as our Special K* step counter promoted physical activity in previous campaigns, we are now sharing the mind body benefits of STOTT PILATES one of the world's foremost pilates exercise brands in an effort to help Canadians live active, healthy lives.”
Pilates is a noimpact, stretch and strengthen method of exercise pioneered in the 1920s. As the fastestgrowing mind-body exercise method in North America**, pilates is becoming more than a fitness regime, it's also a lifestyle. From celebrities like Cindy Crawford to expectant moms, proathletes, executives and teens people of all backgrounds and ages are adopting pilates for its mind-body benefits. The STOTT PILATES method strengthens and streamlines the body with minimal impact, improves posture, heightens body awareness, increases strength, creates leaner muscles and can help prevent injury.
Kellogg's* Special K* is making it easier for Canadians to incorporate exercise and nutritious foods into their daily routines by bringing both to the grocery store shelf.
Simply look for Cindy Crawford on specially marked boxes of Special K* Original, Special K Red Berries*, Special K Soy* and Special K Carb Fit* cereals.
